How RespondWell Works

Updated this week

RespondWell is a technology platform. We connect you with independent licensed medical providers and FDA-registered pharmacies so you can access treatment without the waiting room, the runaround, or the provider who doesn't understand what the job takes from you.

Here's how it works at a high level:

  • The platform (us): We handle your account, intake, secure messaging, payments, and coordination. We do not practice medicine. We do not make clinical decisions. We do not control what your provider prescribes.

  • The providers (independent clinicians): Licensed in your state. They review your health history, determine eligibility, and decide whether to prescribe β€” solely based on their clinical judgment. No prescription is guaranteed. That said, our intake process is designed to screen for major disqualifiers and contraindications upfront β€” so if something is likely to be an issue, you'll know before you've invested much time.

  • The pharmacies (independent, FDA-registered): If your provider approves treatment, your prescription goes to a licensed compounding pharmacy. They prepare, quality-check, and ship your medication directly to your door.

What this means for you: Every clinical decision β€” whether to treat you, what to prescribe, at what dose β€” belongs to your provider. RespondWell facilitates access. Your provider delivers care.

If you have questions about your treatment, dosing, or symptoms, those go to your care team through the platform messaging system. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
